Market Summary:
As I’ve said in recent videos, we’re in a bull market, so please keep things simple. I realize there’s a lot of noise out there with the political and geopolitical tensions, but overall, the market and its leading stocks continue to act well. Please do your best to shut out the noise and focus on the price action. I feel the market will continue higher into Q4, however, it will not be straight up. For example, during periods of seasonal weakness (or when the market gets extended), don’t be surprised to see the market digest through price or through time. Right now, we need to get through the Jewish holidays, and then the market is likely to start running in anticipation of the next earnings season. Overall, I’m not expecting any sustained downside from here, but please be patient and practice some discipline over the near-term.
Remember the main guidelines during power trends: 1) Use the 21-day as your guide. In other words, if we are extended from this level, don’t be surprised to see minor pullbacks through price or through time. 2) Expose yourself to strong stocks and ETFs. I present plenty of ideas in these videos. 3) Get strong entry points near the 21-day and 50-day moving averages. 4) Stick to your stops. Just because it’s a bull market, it doesn’t mean EVERY trade is going to work. You still have to manage risk. 5) Manage your trades as best as possible based on your timeframe. I can give guidelines, but ultimately, you need to decide what position sizes to use and when to take profits. AGAIN, PLEASE KNOW YOUR TIMEFRAME! Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
