Market Summary:
Coming into this week, I mentioned to expect a pullback for the following reasons: 1) The major indexes were extended. 2) A pullback to the 21-day EMA would be normal price action. 3) The week after OpEx tends to see weakness. 4) The June seasonality after OpEx is especially weak (I presented the link with the data below the past few videos). 5) End of the quarter portfolio rebalancing. So, what do we do during this potential pullback? It all depends on your timeframe. If you are a longer-term investor, then hopefully you have some strong entry points and you can deal with normal volatility. If you are a shorter to medium-term trader, you can take some profits into strength (as I mentioned I would last week), and have some money to put back to work if we see a pullback. Again, there is no right or wrong answer. Your decisions should be made based on your overall plan.

So far this week, we have seen that pullback, and it had been fairly orderly. It has occurred on lighter volume and the leaders are still intact. I have put a little money to work so far this week, as I increased my investment levels from approximately 65% invested up to 70%, but I don’t plan on increasing more in order to give the Nasdaq Composite room in case it continues lower. Right now, the index is near its 10-day moving average (13,500) and I want to be patient in case it comes down to its 21-day EMA (approximately 13,230). If the pullback continues into next week, I think it will be a buyable one, as we can start to anticipate more money flowing into the market at the beginning of the new quarter. I present this information in order to prepare members and to help anticipate what could possibly happen in the market. As always, this should only be used if you are nimble, tactical, and have the time to watch the market. In other words, KNOW THYSELF! If this type of active management is not for you, then get those strong entry points and manage risk as best as possible. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
