Market Summary:
Coming into this past week, I mentioned how it was likely to be a strong OpEx week based on the seasonality and the strong technical setup. I’m glad it worked out well and I stuck to my game plan. I came into the week approximately 80% invested and reduced down to 65%, as I mentioned I would if we saw strength last week. The feedback I received from members varied and I discuss it in this video. Bottom line: If you did well, be proud, stay focused, stay humble, and continue to take advantage of this strong market. If you struggled, DO NOT beat yourself up! Just be honest with yourself, make the proper adjustments, and make sure your self-talk is strong. Remember, this is a journey and it takes time to make consistent progress in the markets.

Looking ahead to this week, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a pullback based on the following reasons: 1) Normal profit taking. 2) The week after June OpEx tends to be weak (see statistics above). 3) End of the quarter rebalancing. So, what does this mean? Stick to your game plan, know your timeframe, and be ok with some volatility along the way. If we do see a pullback later this week, I plan to put some money to work, especially in the Focus List names which I updated in this video. I think the potential pullback will be a buyable one as we head into the beginning of the new month and new quarter. As always, get those strong entry points and make your decisions based on your overall investment objectives. Always be working on a plan that suits your personality and stay focused on the leading stocks and sectors. Enjoy the remainder of your long weekend and good luck trading this week!
