Market Summary:
It seems like the biggest challenge right now is what do you do when the market is very strong but there’s a potential pullback coming during the seasonally weak months of August and September? My first response is there is no right or wrong answer. It really depends on your timeframe and overall investment objectives, which is why I encourage members to make decisions. For me, my decision is to be 50% invested. That way, if we go higher I can still participate, and if we go lower I can hopefully protect the downside and put cash to work near logical support. In this video, I discuss other questions such as: 1) What if I’m wrong about the pullback? That’s why I’m 50% invested. In other words, I’m not short or 100% cash. Also, keep in mind I’m always talking in terms of probabilities. 2) What if you want to stay fully invested or on margin? No problem. Do what works for you, but keep in mind that you will likely experience higher volatility.

Another point is that I try to help prepare members for potential moves in the market. That way, we’re less reactive if these moves occur. When I said we could see seasonal weakness in August and September, we’re still in July! In other words, I didn’t mean an immediate pullback and that we would drop straight down to the 50-day. In fact, I mentioned in recent videos how the end of July tends to be seasonally strong. I can’t repeat this enough. The main purpose of this product is to encourage you to make decisions and accept that we’re not always going to be right. We just have to do our best in managing our positions and be ok with our decisions. That’s why I discuss the importance of mental toughness so much because it helps when making decisions. If you have any questions, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be this Monday, July 31 at 7PM EST. Thank you and enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
