Market Summary:
As discussed in recent videos, I am expecting some volatility over the near-term because the Nasdaq Composite is extended from its 21-day moving average, and September is a seasonally weak time of the year. It looks like the pullback started today and I suggest being patient until we get to that level. Sometimes the pullback happens quickly in a day or two, and other times it takes longer. Either way, the point is that it will likely be volatile over the near-term and plan accordingly based on your timeframe.
How I’m handing this is to have some cash available to buy some of the stronger stocks on pullbacks because I am still bullish into year-end. Again, just be patient and don’t chase extended stocks. In last weekend’s video, I reviewed many stocks in many sectors to keep on your watchlist for potential pullback buys. In this video, I review 10-15 stocks and ETFs to focus on, and I also discuss the levels where you might look to start a position or possibly add if you already own. Again, be patient and focus on the strongest stocks possible if we do see a pullback over the near-term. If you have a longer-term timeframe, then hopefully you have strong entry points and a cushion to deal with some volatility. If you have any general questions or want me to review stocks not covered in this video, you can ask them during the next webinar, which will be this Sunday, September 12th at 7PM EST. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week!
