Market Summary:
Here are the concepts I discussed in the two 2024 Preview Videos: 1) I am bullish over the next 6-12 months because of all the technical strength we saw from November through January. The institutions aggressively came back into the markets because of the new bull market powered by AI, and they are anticipating the Fed lowering rates this year. 2) Does that mean we will go straight up with no pullbacks? Of course not! That’s why I’ve also discussed the theme of “using the 21-day EMA as your guide.” 3) Stay focused on the best growth stocks/ETFs out there. 4) Get strong entry points and manage your trades based on your timeframe and overall investment plan. If you don’t have a plan, please continue to finetune it and work on one that fits your situation. 5) Manage risk and stick to your stops. Just because it’s a bull market doesn’t mean everything is going to work out.

The two biggest negatives over the past two weeks are news related: 1) The higher inflation report, leading many to believe the Fed will delay their rate cuts. 2) The ongoing Geopolitical concerns in the Middle East, which is also leading to higher oil prices. The biggest positives: 1) The major indexes are still above their 50-day/10-week moving averages. 2) The selling this past week was on lighter volume. 3) Many of the stocks on our Focus List, Watch List, and the trade ideas from the March 29th video are holding up well and still above key support levels. Conclusion: I am going to be patient and wait for a clearer picture. I’m not going to panic sell, and I prefer to wait and see how things act around these key levels.

Members have emailed me telling me they’re in cash, on margin, or somewhere in between. Please keep in mind that the main goal of this product is to encourage you to make your OWN decisions that fit your overall plan. For me, since most of my stocks are still above support, I am sticking with them. I did reduce some exposure this week, but I am still approximately 80-90% invested. If the market breaks down, I will continue to reduce exposure, and if the market bounces from here, I will hopefully participate. Again, please make your own decisions based on your overall risk tolerance. Thank you and enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
