Market Summary:
My current thoughts on the market can be summarized in three points: 1) We’ve had incredible strength since early November, as the technicals improved considerably. 2) From here, I am expecting a normal consolidation either through price or through time. 3) If we digest the recent gains over the next 1-3 weeks, I am expecting the strength to continue into mid-January. Please keep in mind that I mostly talk in terms of probabilities. In other words, it’s possible that the market continues higher without pausing, but a consolidation is likely. While going through my screens, I noticed a lot of “right-sides” of bases being built. If we pause over the near-term, that will give many stocks time to build proper handles and provide better entry points.

In this video, I discuss three ways how I am handling this market: 1) I have strong entry points in some of the Focus List stocks that I like over the next few months. I am keeping those core positions as long as they continue to act well. 2) I have half positions in some stocks that I will look to add to if they pullback to their 21-day EMA. If they continue higher, at least I own a position. 3) I am taking profits on some stocks, and also getting stopped out of positions that turn against me. How should you handle things? Again, it depends on SO MANY different variables. However, if you are looking to put new money to work, my main suggestion would be remain patient and wait for better entry points.

I would like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all the members and your families. If you are a member outside the US and don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in your country, it’s a great reminder to focus on gratitude and to spend time with family, friends, and loved ones over the holidays. I’m VERY grateful to all the members, and I look forward to continuing to provide you with strong content, and to finish the year strong!
