Market Summary:
At the beginning of this video, I said Wednesday, October 17th (I obviously meant Tuesday). I review the checklist of what I would still like to see in the market. If we get better confirmation, that should increase the probabilities of a sustained uptrend into the year-end. On Monday, we saw an accumulation day on the Nasdaq Composite. Today (Tuesday) was a strong recovery day. I don’t consider it a distribution day because we recovered off the lows on strong volume and finished at the upper end of the range. The most important thing I’ve observed over the past two days is the improving price action of stocks, specifically software stocks.
From here, still be patient until the market proves itself better. Don’t have FOMO! If we get more accumulation, if the major indexes regain their 50-days, and if the improving price action broadens out to more sectors, then there will be PLENTY of time to make money into year-end. Again remain PATIENT! If you are making any new buys, I still suggest lighter positions until conditions improve. As always, know your timeframe and stick to your overall plan. Just a reminder that this weekend’s video will be posted on Sunday, October 22nd by 6PM EST. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
