8) 28:00 Conclusion/Summary
Market Summary:
The feedback I’m getting from members is that they like when I repeat market concepts because it takes time for things to sink in. I sincerely appreciate this feedback because it took me a long time as well, and I’m doing my best to speed up the learning curve for you. In this video, the two themes I reiterate are patience and the ability to make decisions. The market continues to act well during this seasonally strong time (from approximately June 27 through July 21). I remind members that you have to be patient to sit through normal pullbacks and consolidations. If you get frustrated during normal price action, you will never make progress in your trading. Emotions such as frustration, anger, and impatience need to be eliminated from your mind. Again, I’m trying to build calm and confident traders. You have to learn to accept pullbacks and normal price action along the way because Rome wasn’t built in a day.
From here, I am expecting continued strength into next week. I am currently 85% invested, and if we see that strength into regular cycle OpEx next week, I will look to reduce exposure. Why? Because the week after tends to be weak, and then we head into the seasonally weak months of August and September. It would make sense for the market to have a normal visit to its 50-day moving average later this summer, but again, I will take this day-by-day. I only discuss this to help you anticipate what could happen in the market, and for members that like to be tactical and vary their investment levels. If this type of trading is not for you, then take lighter positions and use the 10-week moving average as your guide. Overall, want to keep things simple! We’re in a bull market and I’m doing my best to stick to strong stocks, get strong entry points, and manage my trades. This is where you have to be able to make decisions and be ok with them. Accept that you’ll never trade everything perfectly, and do your best based on your timeframe and overall investment objectives. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
