Market Summary:
In today’s Saturday webinar, many members asked my current views on the market. I’m not sure if I haven’t been clear in the past several videos or if members just want to make sure I’m still bullish, lol, so I will keep it simple. We are in a bull market and I am bullish into year-end. The main reasons include AI, the end of the current rate hiking cycle, and the overall technicals are strong. In the Seminar Videos, I present an outline for you, and then do my best to apply this blueprint to the current market. In my efforts to keep things simple, I will summarize it in four steps.
1) Is the market healthy? Yes, we are above all the key moving averages and growth stocks are acting well. 2) When the market is healthy, I do my best to keep exposure to the strongest growth stocks out there. That’s why I present a Focus List for you. Of course, you can trade whatever you want, I’m just doing my best to stick with some of the market leaders. 3) Get those strong entry points! No matter your timeframe, make sure to use the 21-day EMA as your guide and DO NOT chase extended stocks. 4) Manage your trades. This is the hardest part because it involves making decisions, being mentally tough, and constantly working on your overall plan. You have to accept that you’ll never get the high or the low, so do your best to take profits into strength and cut losses when wrong. A Friday decisive close below the 10-week moving average is my suggested stop loss, and my absolute line in the sand longer-term stop loss is the 200-day moving average.
When I say I’m bullish, please keep in mind that we will have normal pullbacks and consolidations along the way. For example, shorter-term, the seasonality is strong over the next two weeks of July. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a normal pullback down to the 50-day moving average on the S&P 500 later this summer. Again, do your best to stay mentally tough, stick with strong stocks, and manage trades as best as you can. Thank you and enjoy the remainder of your weekend!
