Market Summary:
My conclusion is the same as it has been in the past several videos: Defense until we see better price action. I prefer to trade SUSTAINED uptrends and right now the price action is too volatile and choppy. My instincts tell me that we won’t see the next power trend until the Fall, so I prefer to wait patiently for better setups. As always, I will be open-minded and continue to monitor the market’s price action. For now, defense means lighter positions and a higher cash position until conditions in the growth world improve. Here are some things to look for in the future to tell you that the price action is improving: 1) The selling to slow down. 2) Stocks to build bases again and set up. 3) A Follow Through Day (preferably two follow through days). 4) The major indexes to regain those key moving averages (21-day and 50-day).
