Market Summary:
The S&P 500 had a Day 6 follow through day (FTD) on Wednesday, April 8th. As I mentioned in recent videos, after a FTD you want to see sideways digestion on light volume, minimal distribution, the major indexes continue to hold above their key moving averages, growth stocks to act well, and eventually a SECOND FTD. We’ve seen all that since April 8th. Technically, we didn’t get a second FTD on the S&P 500, but we did see THREE strong accumulation days on Monday, April 13 (+1.02%), Tuesday, April 14 (+1.18%), and Friday, April 17 (+1.2%). I say “technically” because the old definition of a FTD used to be 1% or greater. The whole point is who cares? After the April 8th FTD, the price action has been strong and we’ve seen continued accumulation. Regarding the Nasdaq Composite, we did see THREE follow through days this week on 4/14, 4/15, and 4/17. Again, these are all positive signs of the institutions coming back into the market.

From here, keep things simple and stick to my main guidelines during power trends: 1) Use the 21-day as your guide. In other words, if we are extended from this level, don’t be surprised to see minor pullbacks through price and/or through time. 2) Expose yourself to strong stocks and ETFs. There are plenty of ideas in these videos. 3) Get strong entry points near the 21-day and 50-day moving averages. 4) Manage your trades as best as possible based on your timeframe, risk tolerance, and overall investment plan. I can give guidelines, but ultimately, you need to decide what position size to use, the number of positions to own, when to take profits, and where to set your stop losses. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Write-up on Elicio Therapeutics (ELTX) via Optionshawk on 4/16 with an unusual aggressive buy of 1000 August $22.50 far OTM calls for $3.90 and follows a 4/8 buy of 1000 August $25 calls at $2.30 and a 3/2 buy of 500 May $10 calls at $6. ELTX shares are +57% YTD and nearing the highest level in 3-years with the 200-week EMA up at $21.50 as shares recover from $3.50 lows in mid-2024. ELTX short interest has risen modestly and stands near 10% of the float. Elicio Therapeutics (ELTX) is a single‑asset, high‑risk oncology biotech built around a lymph‑node–targeted cancer vaccine platform (AMP), with the investment case almost entirely driven by one program and one read‑out over the next 12–24 months.

Elicio is a clinical‑stage immuno‑oncology company developing lymph‑node–targeted “AMP” immunotherapies designed to elicit stronger T‑cell responses against solid tumors. Its proprietary Amphiphile (AMP) platform chemically links antigens and adjuvants to an albumin‑binding moiety; after subcutaneous injection, these constructs “hitchhike” on albumin into the lymph nodes, where they are presented efficiently to the immune system. The thesis is that lymph‑node targeting amplifies and sustains tumor‑specific T‑cell activation versus conventional vaccines. The lead and essentially only near‑ to mid‑term value‑driver is ELI‑002, a KRAS‑mutant cancer vaccine that is a next‑generation formulation with seven mutant KRAS peptides plus the AMP‑CpG adjuvant ELI‑004, designed to cover the most common KRAS mutations that drive ~25% of all solid tumors, especially pancreatic (PDAC) and colorectal cancer. ELI‑002 7P is being tested in the adjuvant setting for resected mKRAS‑driven pancreatic cancer.

Elicio’s AMP technology has shown near‑universal induction of KRAS‑specific T‑cells (99% in early 7P data) and evidence of antigen spreading, suggesting the potential for broad, polyclonal, durable responses rather than narrow epitope targeting. That is a key differentiator versus many prior cancer vaccines that failed to generate sufficient T‑cell breadth or magnitude.

ELTX is small with a market cap of $230M and trades 12.5X Cash with no line of sight for commercial revenues. Ladenburg says the company is creating the new standard of care in minimal residual disease positive pancreatic cancer. Phase 1 (ELI‑002 2P) data were published in Nature Medicine in 2024, showing that early AMP‑based formulations can drive strong KRAS‑specific CD4/CD8 T‑cell responses and antigen spreading, with encouraging recurrence‑free survival signals in a small cohort. ELI‑002 7P Phase 1/2: Early 7P data reported that ELI‑002 7P achieved robust mKRAS‑specific T‑cell responses in 99% of evaluable patients and generated broader epitope coverage, supporting the decision to move into a randomized Phase 2.

AMPLIFY‑7P Phase 2 is the catalyst here, ongoing randomized Phase 2 trial in resected mKRAS PDAC; Elicio expects an event‑driven disease‑free survival (DFS) interim analysis in Q3. A strong DFS signal in AMPLIFY‑7P would support Breakthrough / Fast Track discussions and a reasonably defined Phase 3 design.
