10) 44:05 Conclusion/Summary
Market Summary:
Coming into this past week, I mentioned that we could see a pullback/consolidation for the following reasons: 1) The Nasdaq Composite was extended 2) The week after OpEx tends to be weak 3) End of the quarter profit taking and adjustments 4) The seasonality around the Jewish holidays. We ended up seeing a normal pullback for the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite down to their respective 21-day EMA, however, many growth stocks corrected significantly more than the general market. In this video, I discuss different strategies to possibly deal with this higher volatility if you got tossed around last week.
From here, I’m going to stick to my main guidelines during power trends: 1) Use the 21-day as your guide. In other words, if we are extended from this level, don’t be surprised to see minor pullbacks through price and/or through time. 2) Expose yourself to strong stocks and ETFs. Between the Focus List and the other stocks, there are plenty of ideas in these videos. 3) Get strong entry points near the 21-day and 50-day moving averages. 4) Manage your trades as best as possible based on your timeframe, risk tolerance, and overall investment plan. I can give guidelines, but ultimately, you need to decide what position sizes to use, the number of positions to own, when to take profits, and where to set your stop losses. If you have any questions, you can ask them during the next LIVE webinar which will be this Monday, September 29th at 7PM EST. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
