Market Summary:
The big institutions started to come back in the market aggressively towards the end of April, and since then, the market has stair-stepped higher in a healthy manner. In addition, during this time, we’ve seen very little distribution, and the price action of growth stocks continues to improve. Again, do your best to shut out the noise and focus on making money during this power trend. Power trends tend to last 6-12 weeks, so hopefully this can take us into mid-July with normal pullbacks along the way. As always, I will take this day-by-day and update you in these videos if anything major changes.
Right now, the big question on everyone’s mind is whether the recent geopolitical tensions will disrupt the markets. Currently, my answer is no because the major indexes are holding their key moving averages and many leading growth stocks continue to act well. Of course, if anything changes, I have the right to change my mind and will update you in these videos. For now, I’m sticking with this uptrend until I see any major warning signs.
Remember the main guidelines during power trends: 1) Use the 21-day as your guide. In other words, if we are extended from this level, don’t be surprised to see minor pullbacks through price and/or through time. 2) Expose yourself to strong stocks and ETFs. Between the Focus List and the other stocks, there are plenty of ideas in these videos. 3) Get strong entry points near the 21-day and 50-day moving averages. 4) Manage your trades as best as possible based on your timeframe, risk tolerance, and overall investment plan. I can give guidelines, but ultimately, you need to decide what position sizes to use, the number of positions to own, when to take profits, and where to set your stop losses. Thank you and good luck this week.

6/16/25 Steve Madden (SHOO) 1500 July 22.50 calls buy $2.20 offer follows the 6500 July 25 rolled to last week, a name that is a M&A target following SKX deal
NuScale Power (SMR) on 6/16 traded 41,000 calls, 3.5X average, and IV3- rose another 7% to hit 110% and skew remains bullish inverted with strong demand for upside calls. SMR buyers were active in August $50 calls 8000X, August $60 calls 3400X and November $60 calls 3300X a day after large buys in November $50 and $60 calls and the 5/14 buyer of 5000 November $35 calls continues to hold in open interest as well as recent size buys in July $45 and August $25 calls. SMR shares are on a parabolic run with last week’s bull flag breakout and continues to see large volume accumulation on the Nuclear theme with recent administration supporting the nuclear renaissance. NuScale Power Corporation provides small modular reactor technology solutions. SMR now has a $12B market cap with revenues seen hitting $385M in FY27 from $48M in FY25 and EBITDA profitability seen in FY28. Nuclear small modular reactor (SMR) technology is positioned to play a transformative role in the global energy transition, offering scalable, carbon-free power with enhanced safety and flexibility. The global SMR market is projected to grow from $10–$15 billion by 2030 to $40–$50 billion by 2035. Surging electricity needs from AI and hyperscale data centers require a lot of power. NuScale’s 77 MWe VOYGR reactor received U.S. regulatory approval in May 2025, with a 12-module plant capable of generating 924 Mwe. Partnerships with ENTRA1 Energy for global deployment and a 462 MWe project in Romania (RoPower Doicești) demonstrate commercial traction. SMR has a debt-free balance sheet and $525M in cash providing flexibility. Projects in Romania, Poland, and Indonesia position NuScale to capture 15–20% of the global SMR market by 2035. July 2025 NRC approval for a 77 MWe module (from 50 MWe) could reduce costs by 20–30% per MW. SMR has discussions with hyperscalers needing 100–300 MW of reliable power according to a recent Axios report from the CEO. NuScale remains well ahead of its competition and continues to lead the market as the only near-term deployable SMR. ENTRA1 continues to lead discussions with major US hyperscalers with a strong focus on powering AI operations. Analysts have an average target of $32 and short interest is high at 18.5% of the float. BTIG expects multiple SMR technology winners over time, but says NuScale which has been pushing forward its pressurized water-cooled reactor since 2007, and looks to have the quickest path to commercialization in the U.S.
