Market Summary:
I emailed a Market Note to Members, which you can also find posted next to this video. The conclusion remains the same: Defense, defense, defense. I can’t stress this enough: Please show some patience and discipline until market conditions improve. I specifically want to see: 1) Signs that the selling is slowing down and that the institutions are coming back in with better consistency. In other words, the down days to be on lighter volume, and the up days to occur on stronger volume. Recently, we’ve seen the opposite and that needs to change. 2) Better reactions to strong earnings reports. 3) Stocks to set up on lower volatility and consistently breakout on stronger volume.

Again, this will require patience until we see a change in the market’s character, but please don’t get discouraged. The purpose of today’s Market Note is to remind members to protect your confidence. Defensive doesn’t mean bearish. It simply means keeping things tight until it’s time to step on the gas again.
