Market Summary:
As I mentioned in recent videos, don’t be surprised to see some weakness towards the end of June. Specifically, the June 19-27th time period tends to see some end-of-the-quarter profit taking. However, coming out of this, I expect the market’s strength to continue into July. In other words, shorter-term weakness but just a normal pullback is my interpretation of the market’s current price action. That’s why I always say know your timeframe and have a strategy that suits your overall plan. For me, I took some profits into the recent strength, and will look to add on support; but for the most part, I’m sticking with many of my positions because I believe they are going higher into year-end.
Another reason I believe this is just a normal pullback is the price action of many leaders, and I discuss it in this video. There’s also a lot of put writing that makes me believe the pullbacks will be shallow over the near-term. As always, I will take this day-by-day and update you in these videos. Again, we’re in a power trend, keep things simple, this is just a normal (and expected) pullback, so please don’t overthink things. Thank you and enjoy the remainder of your weekend!
