Market Summary:
We saw incredible technical strength during the first half of November. That’s when I started to summarize my market thoughts in 3 steps: 1) The strength into mid-November. 2) To begin to expect consolidation either through price or through time. Towards the end of November and into early December, the Nasdaq Composite and many leading stocks were approaching their 21-day EMAs. That’s when I mentioned in recent videos to start getting ready for step 3) Which is a move higher out of this range and to expect continued strength into mid-January. Over the past 1-2 weeks, many stocks offered strong entry points, and have been working well so far. I’m pleased to hear from members who are doing well and understanding the concept of calm and confident trading.
If you missed the move in early November, the market gave you plenty of chances to put money to work over the past week or two. If you still hesitate and have trouble making decisions, please keep in mind that you can always start with partial positions to help build your decision making muscle. I’m doing my best to keep things simple. Since that second follow through day in early November, I have been 80-90% invested. I’m doing my best to manage trades and take advantage of this strength. Of course, I have been stopped out of a few positions, but for the most part, the dips have been shallow and many names on our focus list and watch list continue to act well. From here, I don’t think step 3 will be straight up, so use the 21-day as your guide when we have normal pullbacks. If you have any questions, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be this Saturday, December 16th at 11AM EST. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
