Market Summary:
As I’ve discussed in the past several videos, the theme so far this year is consistent institutional accumulation. The up days are occurring on strong volume, and the consolidations days are coming on light volume. This bodes well for a potential power trend over the next 4-6 weeks with normal pullbacks to the 21-day moving average. Short-term, we are extended from the 21-day and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a minor pullback early this week. I will be watching for a possible low into Thursday to set up for a strong Options Expiration (OpEx) week the following week. In this video, I discuss this concept under the “Five Lessons” section. Please keep in mind that nothing is an exact science when it comes to the market. I present many of these trends to help members with their probabilities, especially for the shorter-term traders.

In the stock section, I review many of the strongest growth sectors: Biotech, Semiconductors, and Software. We continue to see the Nasdaq Composite (growth) outperform the Dow Jones (value) almost every week this year. This shows that the big institutions are rotating into growth/riskier assets and that’s what I will be focusing on over the next several weeks. If you have any questions or would like me to review any stocks not covered in this video, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be this Monday, February 6th at 7PM EST. Thank you and enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
