Market Summary:
In this video, I discuss five factors that continue to show signs of the market’s health improving: 1) The price action of stocks (I review many examples in the stock section). 2) Accumulation vs. Distribution. We continue to see consistent signs of institutional accumulation on the up days. 3) The Nasdaq Comp and S&P 500 back above their 200-days. The Russell led this move recently. 4) Money rotating from value into growth the past few weeks (the Dow Jones was flat today). 5) Many stocks that are sold into strength are continuing higher. Don’t beat yourself up if this has happened to you, it’s a sign of better market health.

From here, I think we are in week 4 of a potential 8-12 week power trend. Of course, we will have pullbacks along the way, which is why I want members to use the 21-day as their guide (on both individual stocks and the major indexes). I am currently 50% invested and happy with my exposure. If the market goes higher, I like the positions I’m in, and when we get the inevitable pullback, I want to have cash to buy/add to some of these strong positions. I can’t stress this enough: ENTRY POINT is very important!!! If you have a heavy cash position, DO NOT chase extended stocks. If you have been on margin the past year, it might not be a bad idea to lighten up on some of your weaker positions into this recent strength in order to have cash to buy some of the stronger names. Again, this is never investment advice. I’m simply trying to guide you through this market and remind you to get strong entry points. I will try to run a webinar this weekend. As soon as I finalize the date and time, I will email everyone. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
