Market Summary:
After last week’s CPI (inflation) report, the market surged to the upside and has been consolidating well since. As I mentioned in last weekend’s video, I would like to see sideways digestion on light volume to give time for growth stocks to hopefully provide safer entry points over the next 1-3 weeks. In this video, I stress the importance of the 21-day EMA (exponential moving average). Statistically, this is an area where indexes, ETFs, and strong stocks find support while they are in uptrends. Right now, it’s important to wait patiently for the market and many growth stocks to pullback to this level in order to provide safer entry points. As I’ve mentioned many times, no matter your timeframe, focus on getting safer/better entry points and DO NOT chase extended stocks.
The biggest challenge I’m finding right now is the lack of growth stocks. There are definitely some stocks in the Energy sector that are near buyable points and I present them in this video. However, I prefer members still use lighter than normal positions until stocks prove themselves a little better. The indexes are acting well, but the lack of growth stocks is a little concerning and I will always lean a little more defensive until conditions improve. If you have any questions, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be tomorrow, Thursday, November 17th at 2PM EST. Thank you!
