Market Summary:
The best way to summarize my market stance right now is one word: patience. The past two weeks have seen very low volume due to the holidays. When institutional volume returns over the next few weeks, I think we will get a clearer picture of market direction. Right now, the majority of strong stocks that I’m finding are still coming from the Semiconductor sector. I would like to see more stocks firm up if we’re are going to see a new sustained uptrend form in Q1. I am also open minded to potential tax selling in Q1, as many people like to delay their tax gains for another year (2023) by selling early in the previous year (2022). I don’t mean to be indecisive. I simply prefer to see more price action and get more information before increasing my investment levels. I am currently 40% invested with a mix of ETFs and stocks. If conditions improve with growth stocks, I will increase my levels. If we lose the 10-week on the Nasdaq Composite, I will likely reduce exposure.
In this video, I also discuss ways to make improvements in 2022. They are not just market ways, but things you can control in your personal life to help increase your mental toughness and minimize frustrations. I want to thank everyone again for all the awesome support last year. I look forward to building on that and making continued progress in 2022. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and Happy New Year! Wishing you and your family an abundance of health and happiness in 2022!
