Market Summary:
This is a very strong, liquidity-driven market. Don’t argue with it. I still think we go higher into year-end, but there will of course be normal pullbacks along the way. As I mentioned in Thursday’s Market Note to Members, I locked in some profits this week for the reasons I discussed in the email. If we go higher this week, which is very possible with the new money that tends to flow into the market at the beginning of the month, then I should hopefully participate because I still have plenty of exposure. If the Nasdaq Composite pulls back to its 21-day moving average over the near-term, then I plan to put money to work if some stocks retreat to logical support levels. As always, make your decisions based on your own timeframe and investment objectives. I tend to trade a little more actively than most people, and if it’s too confusing to follow, please use lighter positions and use the 10-week moving average as your guide.

In this video, I address some of the member emails that I received this week. If you are doing well, stay humble and understand this is a strong market. Take advantage of it but also realize this is a unique time in market history. If you are struggling, please keep your head up and do some post analysis of your work. Be honest with yourself and make the proper adjustments to hopefully correct your mistakes in the future. I get stopped out of stocks all the time, only to see them turn around immediately. I also take profits on positions and watch them go higher. It’s part of the game and I’ve learned to accept it. But one thing I don’t do is dwell on it because I try to stay as mentally tough as possible. Thinking about your mistakes for too long will only hurt you in the long-run. It’s ok to make them, but correct them and move on quickly. Enjoy your weekend and good luck trading this week!
