Market Summary:
The positives in the market right now: The Nasdaq Composite is back above its 50-day, there’s little distribution, and stocks are breaking out and holding their breakouts. The negatives: The rise over the past two weeks has occurred on below average volume, and the Nasdaq and S&P 500 are extended from their 21-day moving averages. So what to do from here? Lean bullish but be open minded for quick pullbacks. The upcoming week is an Options Expiration week (which tends to lean to the upside), and overall, April tends to be a strong month seasonally. If we do get some pullback over the near-term, I wouldn’t expect any sustained downside.

As I mentioned in Thursday’s Webinar (4/9/21), I feel we are in the early stages of a decent uptrend in stocks that could last over the next 4-6 weeks. That doesn’t mean one should be complacent. Make sure to get strong entry points and don’t chase extended stocks. Use the 21-day as your guide for pullback buys, and be patient over the near-term in case the indexes put in a quick shakeout. Again, lean bullish and focus on the strongest stocks out there. In this video, I discuss many different sectors to show you the overall health of the market, but I am mainly focused on the Semiconductor and Medical Products sectors because they were the first to make new highs around the follow through day last Wednesday, March 31st. If you have questions about any stocks not covered in this video, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be Sunday, April 11th at 11AM EST. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
