Market Summary:
As I mentioned in recent videos, there are two different markets right now. Growth is going through a correction (as seen in the Nasdaq Composite) while other sectors such as Value and the “Opening up of the Economy” stocks are in strong uptrends. What to do? A possible solution is to have exposure to both. In other words, own some of the stronger growth stocks while also keeping exposure to broad ETFs. These could be index ETFs (such as SPY, IWM, DIA) or specific sector ETFs (such as XRT, XLE, OIF, XLF). As soon as more growth stocks set up, I plan to rotate from these ETFs and more into individual stocks. You can always keep a blend of both if you are more comfortable with that strategy. Regarding the Nasdaq, I would like to see three things happen: 1) The index to get back above its 50-day 2) A Follow Through Day 3) More growth stocks building strong bases and providing safe entries. I’m confident that this will happen soon, but I still recommend being patient and using half positions on new buys until we get more confirmation.

In this video, I discuss decision making in two different sections. I want to stress that making decisions will help build your overall confidence. I discuss this in the Educational Videos, I’ve talked about it for over a year with all the members, and I want to reiterate it again to the new members. I will do my best to keep you on the right side of the market, expose you to some of the strongest stocks when the market is healthy, and remind you to get defensive when I see some warning signs. I will also guide you when a stock is extended or where to stop yourself out if a position turns against you. What I can’t do is click the mouse for you. Ultimately, these are decisions you need to make based on your timeframe, risk tolerance, and overall investment objectives. I have many goals with this product, but the ultimate goal is build calm, confident traders who can approach the market with conviction, make decisions, accept being wrong, and continuously make progress.
