Market Summary:
As I mentioned two weekend’s ago, I am staying long this market over the last 3 weeks of the year because the technicals are very strong and the seasonality is favorable. So far, so good as the major averages continue to act well and many growth stocks are working out. On Monday, the market gapped down but closed near the highs of the day. I mentioned that the dips into year-end are likely to be brief and this price action continues to show institutional support. On Tuesday, the Nasdaq Composite was up on strong volume, while the S&P 500 pulled back on lighter volume. Again, the market continues to show very little distribution. I started to reduce my exposure this week and if we continue higher into year-end, I plan on reducing my exposure some more. As always, the decisions you make need to be based on your own timeframe and investment objectives.

I am bullish on 2021 because of the strong technicals and the low interest rate environment. Of course, we will see normal corrections and pullbacks along the way. I discuss this in my 2021 preview for Yahoo Finance which will be out this Thursday. I will also be on their Final Round show on Thursday around 1PM EST.
