Market Summary:
We had a Day 6 follow through day (FTD) on the S&P 500 today because it was a big up day (greater than 2.5%) on higher volume than the previous day. Please keep in mind that you only need a FTD on one of the major indexes. I mention this because technically it was not a FTD for the Nasdaq Composite. From here, I would like to see sideways digestion on light volume, minimal distribution, continue to hold above the key moving averages, and eventually a SECOND FTD. If all this occurs, I would feel more confident that a new power trend is going to occur. The reason I have not put together a focus list nor have any stocks near buyable ranges is that I would like to be patient and wait for a new power trend to develop.

In this video, I address three groups of people: 1) Those who are lightly invested. My suggestion is to NOT have FOMO and to wait patiently for better entries. 2) Those what are approximately 50% invested. Hopefully, that means you participated in some of the strength lately and please continue to be patient. 3) Those who are fully invested. The big question is why you were already at this level. Is it because you never sold anything and rode everything down, because you have a longer-term timeframe, or because you anticipated this move? Again, you can see that the question of “what to do” is nearly impossible to answer because I can’t give investment advice and I don’t know everyone’s unique situation. That’s why I constantly say “do what works for you.” The main goal of this product is to encourage you to make decisions. I can give guidelines, but ultimately, it’s up to you to stick to your OWN plan. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
