Market Summary:
Two points I emphasize in this video: 1) We’re in a bull market, but there will be pullbacks, shakeouts, and corrections along the way. Last week was one of those weeks where we saw higher than normal volatility in many growth stocks. 2) If you are going to trade growth/momentum stocks in a strong bull market, you’re just going to have to deal with the volatility.

If this volatility is too much for you, here are some suggestions I’ve presented many times over the years: 1) If you are playing for a bigger move in a stock, you just have to deal with volatility. 2) Smaller positions with a longer timeframe can help, so you are not nervous over every tick. 3) Take profits into strength. 4) Use a blend of ETFs and stocks to mitigate volatility. 5) No matter your timeframe, make sure to get strong entry points to give you a cushion during normal pullbacks. From here, I’m going to continue to shut out the noise, keep things simple, and focus on the main guidelines I’ve presented during power trends.
