Market Summary:
In this video, I review the following 4 bullet points: 1) In recent videos, I said “defense, defense, defense.” Why? For two reasons: A) Most of the major indexes are below their 50-day moving averages, and some are below their 200-day. B) Many growth stocks are showing poor price action. 2) I remind members to protect your confidence. It’s not just the speculative sectors (such as space, quantum computing, and bitcoin) that got hit over the past month, but it’s also many widely held stocks such as AMZN, GOOGL, NVDA, and TSLA. 3) What’s next? Patience until we see a follow through day and the price action of stocks improves. 4) Conclusion: Stay defensive, but don’t get too bearish. If you are going to trade, please keep your positions light until we see better health in the market.

From here, I would like to see 5 things: 1) Signs that the selling is slowing down. 2) One (preferably two) follow through days. 3) The major indexes to regain their 50-day. 4) The price action of stocks to improve. 5) Sentiment to get washed out. Again, this will take time to develop, but in the meantime, I will keep curating a list of stocks holding up well and observe how they act.
