Market Summary:
Overall, I like to keep my analysis simple. The major indexes regained their 50-day moving averages recently, and so far this week we’ve been consolidating sideways. Although we haven’t seen a follow through day, we did get strong breath readings from last Thursday through Monday. This resulted in a Breadth Thrust Signal, and I include the link to that study below today’s video. From here, I would expect normal consolidation and possibly see the indexes catch up to their 21-day moving averages. Of course, we could see some shakeouts along the way, but again, I’m not expecting any significant or sustained downside.

I’m doing my best to stick with basic rules: 1) Make sure the market is healthy. It is, as we are above the 50-day and there are plenty of stocks acting well. 2) When the market is healthy, try to be in the strongest stocks and/or ETFs. I discuss many of them in this video. 3) Get strong entry points. Use the 21-day as your guide. 4) Manage your trades as best as possible based on your timeframe, risk tolerance, and overall investment objectives. This last part is the most difficult because it involves decision making and mental toughness. If you have trouble with this, please keep in mind that you can use lighter positions to help build your strength and overall confidence. If you have any questions, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be this Monday, May 13th at 7PM EST. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
