Market Summary:
As I mentioned in many recent videos, the major indexes are in the process of a normal pullback to their 50-day moving averages. I realize it’s never fun when the market corrects, but I’m doing my best to deal with it by remaining approximately 50% invested, and using lighter positions for any new buys. Of course, if anything turns against me, I am sticking to my loss cutting discipline. I hope you are as well, and I suggest using any Friday decisive close below the 10-week moving average as your guide. In this video, I address some recent questions from members: 1) What to do now? Remain patient until stocks set up again and we see signs of the selling slowing down. 2) How long will this correction last? Of course, no one knows, but statistics show we can use September 7th as our guideline. Of course, I will take this day-by-day. 3) Can this be more than a normal pullback? Yes, I am open-minded to that, which is why I will continue to interpret the market and update you in these videos.

For now, it seems like a normal pullback, but I discuss in this video how the market and stocks sometimes undercut their 50-day moving averages and find support around their 65-day. I will continue to observe this level and see if we can regain some strength over the next few weeks. Again, please be patient and let this pullback finish. When the institutions come back in, there will be plenty of time to make money. The important thing now is to protect your capital AND mental capital so you will be ready for healthier conditions. If you have any questions, there will be two upcoming webinars on Saturday, August 19th at 11AM EST and Monday, August 21st at 7PM EST. I’m doing my best to accommodate members in different time zones before taking time off from the webinars until after Labor Day. There will still be the regularly scheduled MidWeek and Weekend Videos. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
