Market Summary:
The biggest positive is how the major indexes continue to act well. I like how the Nasdaq Composite came down to its 21-day on light volume and bounced today on stronger volume (please keep in mind that volume will be lighter than normal this week due to the holiday). The other major indexes continue to hold their 21-day and 10-day moving averages and I review them in this video. The biggest negative continues to be the uninspiring action in growth stocks. As they are setting up, they can do one of three things: 1) Breakout 2) Stall or 3) Slowly decline and sometimes bounce back. Unfortunately for now, I am noticing most setups are falling into the latter two categories. That doesn’t mean that the price action can’t improve. It simply means that stocks need more time to prove themselves.

The conclusion is the same. I am keeping exposure to the market through index and sector ETFs until the price action in growth stocks improves. I explain many examples of what I am looking for in this video. Any positions I have in individual stocks remain lighter than normal and I am still leaning defensive until we get more clarity. Again, if this rally is for real, there will be plenty of opportunities once the market proves itself a little better. If you have any questions, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be this Saturday, November 26th at 11AM EST. Thank you and enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday!
