Market Summary:
My message is the same: Stay defensive, be patient, and be disciplined in your trading. In other words, if you are going to trade, use lighter than normal positions, get strong entry points, and stick to a loss cutting discipline. In healthier conditions, the market can sometimes forgive you for being undisciplined. However, in corrective markets, it can be ruthless if you don’t adhere to strict principles.

In this video, I review some factors needed in order to be more confident in a sustained, new uptrend. Most importantly, I would like to see tons of growth stocks setting up. I also want to see consistent upside volume from the institutions, the Fed change their hawkish tune, the major indexes to get back above key moving averages, and more of a sentiment washout. I still see more people worried about missing upside than protecting capital in case of potential downside. Again, for all this to occur, it will require patience and discipline. If you have any questions or would like me to review stocks not covered in this video, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be this Saturday, February 19th at 11AM EST. Thank you and good luck for the remainder of the week.
