Market Summary:
As I’ve mentioned several times lately, keep it simple. The market is in a strong uptrend and I discuss many statistics in this video (see links above) showing that strength usually leads to more strength over the next 60-90 days. Of course, we will see some pullbacks and shakeouts along the way, but my guess is they will be short-lived (or just normal pullbacks to the 21-day moving average) along the way higher into year-end.
I will always remind you to stay focused on the strongest stocks out there. It’s ok to speculate, but try to allocate only a smaller portion of your portfolio to those names, and try to keep it concentrated in the best ideas. The best thing you can work on into year-end is defining yourself and working on your decision making. One of the goals of this product is to encourage members to make decisions on their own, and find a strategy that fits your personality. I try to provide you with a strong blueprint, but ultimately, it’s important to develop a style that works for you (trader vs. investor). Also, please keep in mind this is a very strong market. Take advantage of it as best as you can, but you still have to stick to a loss cutting policy if any position turns against you and breaks below key moving averages. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and good luck trading next week!
