Market Summary:
As I’ve mentioned several times, the end of June tends to be a seasonally weak time of the year. The market still needs to digest today’s Fed decision and get through the end of the quarter portfolio rebalancing. Although I am expecting some volatility over the next two weeks, I am not expecting any sustained downside. Overall, the major indexes are holding their key moving averages and many stocks continue to act well. Eventually, I feel the Nasdaq Composite will break out of its range to new highs. In this video, I discuss that it first might need to build a handle to its overall base and visit its 21-day before a possible run into next quarter’s earnings season.

As always, I encourage members to know their timeframe and make decisions based on their own investment objectives. I don’t have any setups in tonight’s video, but there’s a great list of stocks to enter if they pull back to their 21-day ema over the next two weeks. Again, stay focused on the strongest stocks, try to get strong entry points, and manage risk around those positions. It is nice to see some Mega Cap stocks and Software names building the right side of their new bases. Most are a little too extended to enter here, but if they build handles over the next 1-3 weeks, they could provide strong entry points. Also, if they do set up, it could be added fuel to launch the Nasdaq into new highs. Good luck for the remainder of the week.
