Market Summary:
My tone over the past 2-3 weeks of videos has been one of caution and nothing’s changed. Again, I’m not bearish right now, I’m just remaining defensive. One of the positives this week is that the S&P 500 and the Russell 2000 rallied back to close above their 50-day/10-week moving averages, but one of the biggest negatives is that growth stocks are still in a corrective mode and there are very few safe entry points. While I don’t see any major downside from here in the indexes, I still recommend that members stay defensive until market conditions improve. Ways to stay defensive include: Raising some cash, cutting losses on stocks that have significantly broke below their 10-week moving averages, using lighter than normal positions, and waiting patiently. If I can offer any encouragement, there will be a strong, new uptrend and some great stocks that will come out of this correction. The key right now is to be patient.

Since I didn’t have any setups this week, I took the time to discuss many topics during the Market Commentary section of this video and also to answer some member emails. Again, there will be plenty of ideas when this correction is over, but I’m not going to force ideas when I’m not finding many growth stocks to buy. If you want broad exposure, I’m not opposed to buying some index or sector ETFs until growth stocks set up again, but still keep those positions light. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and if you have any questions about stocks not covered in this video, you can ask them during the next webinar which will be Sunday, March 7th at 7PM EST. Thank you.

Unusual Option Activity
