Market Summary:
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been bullish and constructive on this market for the following reasons: Strong indexes, little distribution, the Fed, seasonality, and stocks continue to act well. In last weekend’s video, I mentioned I would stay aggressive into year-end mainly because of the strong seasonality. So far, so good as the S&P 500 was up +1.25% last week and the Nasdaq Composite was up +3.05%. From here, if we continue to move higher into year-end, I will be looking to reduce my exposure. I will either reduce my position size or completely sell some of my stocks if they get extended. If we go sideways and digest the recent gains in a healthy manner, I will not reduce my exposure. Basically, I will take this day by day and sell into strength if we grind higher into year-end.

This is where I encourage members to make decisions based on their own timeframe, risk tolerance, and investment objectives. If you are a longer-term investor and have strong entry points on your stocks, then stick with the trend and use the 10-week moving average as your guide. If you are shorter-term, there’s nothing wrong with selling into strength and having some cash for the inevitable pullback. At some point in January or February, I am looking for the S&P 500 to correct down to its 50-day moving average. I view this as a normal pullback within the overall strong uptrend. Again, I will take this day by day and the decisions you make should be based on your OWN timeframe. I tend to trade shorter-term than most people, so please keep that in mind. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and if you have any questions, you can ask them during the next webinar this Sunday, December 20th at 11AM EST.
